Dance Theatre of Harlem returns to Worcester's Hanover Theatre with "The Hazel Scott Ballet Project," a brand new work co-commissioned by Music Worcester that celebrates the life and legacy of jazz legend Hazel Scott.
Violinist Vijay Gupta, Music Worcester's Artist-In-Residence for 2023, brings a recital program to historic Mechanics Hall featuring Bach's Partita II in D Minor and Sonata III in C Major in addition to "When The Violin," the program's titular piece from composer Reena Esmail.
Directed by Worcester Chorus Associate Director Mark Mummert, The Worcester Chorus Women's Ensemble returns to Worcester's Trinity Lutheran Church with a program featuring "Songs for Women's Voices" with music by Gwyneth Walker and poetry by May Swenson.
